About
Welcome to the Belgaum Animal Welfare Association (BAWA). We are a passionate collective of animal lovers, veterinarians, activists, and volunteers who are committed to improving the lives of stray and abandoned animals. Our organization is based in Belgaum, Karnataka, and works relentlessly to offer care, shelter, and advocacy for the voiceless. At BAWA, we strongly believe in community participation, education, and empathy to create lasting change in the way society treats animals. Whether you’re here to adopt a furry friend, volunteer your time, or support our mission, you are an essential part of our journey towards compassion.

Adopt or Foster
Bring joy into your life by adopting a rescued animal. Or, offer them a temporary home as a foster. We provide support and guidance every step of the way. Every adoption is a step toward ending the suffering of strays.
