Any Brahmin who is enrolled as an advocate and is practicing in any of the districts in the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as well as those advocates practicing in the Supreme Court of India can become a member.
One can become a member by filling in the enrollment form and paying the one-time registration fees of Rs.500/- and membership charges .
The enrollment form can be either downloaded from this website, duly filled in and submitted at the Association office along with such fees. Additionally the enrollment forms are available at the Association office.
Membership charges are in the following manner:
A. Annual Member : payment of Rs. 500/- renewable every 12 months
B. Life Member: one-time payment of Rs. 10,000/-
C. Patron Member: Donation of RS. 50,000/- and above.
Fees can be paid:
(A) directly at the Association Office by way of a cash/cheque /demand draft drawn in favour of ‘Brahmin Advocates Welfare Association’ OR;
(B) the same can be given directly to the Association treasurer Adv. T.V.S. Prabhakar Garu only during lunch hour in the High Court premises on court working days. OR;
(C) Online transfer through DBT/NEFT/RTGS/ECS can be done to this bank account Bearing No. 027600301160001 in Corporation Bank, Hyderguda Branch, HYDERABAD-500029, IFSC Code: CORP0000276. Cash can be transferred to this special Savings A/C. : CLSB/1/160001.
Those Advocates who wish to become members but are not in a position to pay the same shall have to make a request in writing to the association and the Managing Committee, in its meetings, will decide on such waiver on a case to case basis and grant Annual membership to such Advocates.
No. While only Brahmin Advocates can become members, their families are encouraged and requested to accompany such members for various functions organized by the Association from time to time.
